Planning - Budget Britney (Kyle Quadra)
What Skills I have learnt:
- How to sync the music to the visuals in the video.
- How to cut between scenes on the beat of the music.
- Positioning camera to obtain well framed shots.
- Use transitions between different shots.
- Edit footage in time with the song.
What Went Well:
- The footage was well synced with the music, as jump cuts were in time with the beat of the music.
- The sound in the visuals of the video corresponded with the sounds in the song, for example; the clock ticks, foot tapping and pencil tapping.
- The cameras were correctly set to the lighting in the video, and therefore there was no noise is the footage.
Even Better If:
- We had a longer time to prepare for shots and have a larger range of shots to use.
- We had the chance to re-take shots, as some were not to a high standard and could have been re-shot to improve lip-syncing and choreography.
- We used other equipment to record the footage, for example; a camera dolly to record the walking scene with more stable footage as a result.
