Psychedelic music covers a range of popular music styles and genres mainly influenced by the 1960s psychedelic culture. Psychedelic music is heavily dominated by the stereotype that the people who are interested in the culture use drugs such as LSD, psilocybin mushrooms, mescaline and DMT. The main reason of the consumption of these drugs is to enhance the listening through the effects of the drugs such as hallucinations.
