Research - K-Pop Genre

K-Pop

K-pop is a musical genre that originates from South Korea and is a genre type that falls under a wide variety of different music genres. K-pop music can fall under sub-genres such as dance-pop, pop ballad, electropop, R&B and hip-hop.  K-pop music is mostly defined by having Korean artists, Korean lyrics or a Korean production companies involved in the music and the videos usually includes a dance number to go with the song. The genre is very common in countries like Korea and Japan but has become increasingly popular in western countries like the USA in recent years.
